Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation
Initially, all new patients will meet with the provider for a comprehensive intake session. During this session the provider will assess your presenting symptoms, past and current psychiatric history, medical history, family history, trauma history, social history, medications used and a review of any medical/hospital records, and lab reports. The findings will be analyzed and discussed with you along with any recommendations to meet your treatment goals. A personalized treatment plan will be developed to address your needs and desired goals. A reevaluation of your treatment plan will be ongoing throughout the course of the treatment and revised if needed.

What is in involved in the comprehensive psychiatric evaluation
During the comprehensive psychiatric evaluation expect to spend approximately 60+ minutes with your provider. Since each evaluation is different, as each person’s symptoms and behaviors are different. Evaluation may include:

• Psychological Assessment
Once a diagnosis is made, family involvement and active participation in treatment is very important. Your provider will address questions and provide reassurance by working with you to establish long-term and short-term treatment goals for you.
